Rihanna Dips Her Toe Into ‘Quiet Luxury’ With the Most Unexpected Diamond Accessory

Nobody does quiet luxury like Rihanna.

On May 23, the "Diamonds" singer poked a bit of fun at the stealth-wealth trend popularized by the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Succession's Shiv Roy by rocking a nine-carat pearl-shaped diamond toe ring, which is estimated to be worth around $1 million, according to Page Six. Jewelry expert Maxwell Stone of Steven Stone Jewellers also told the publication that the pearl-shaped diamond is "believed to symbolize the empowerment and independence of the wearer," making it the "perfect choice for a global superstar like Rihanna."

"Quiet luxury," Rihanna captioned the clip, which features the singer walking in a pair of sparkling heels to show off the unexpected accessory.

It's likely Rihanna recorded the short clip the same day she wore her pre–Met Gala feathered Chanel look, which featured a white feathered minidress with a matching jacket and hat from the fashion house's 1994 collection. On April 30 she posted the avant-garde look on Instagram, which also included the Amina Muaddi sandals and XIV Karats toe ring.

"NOTHING QUIET ABOUT A NINE KARAT RING ON FEET," one fan replied to the video, while another wrote, "It's pretty loud sis."

Look, there's obviously nothing quiet about Rihanna's style, and we wouldn't have it any other way. In fact, the pregnant Fenty Beauty mogul just revived her iconic Dior lingerie moment of 2022 in yet another mesh slip dress. This time, however, Rihanna is preparing for baby number two and the dress is from her own lingerie brand, Savage x Fenty. She recently wore the "unreleased Savage slip" while out in Tokyo, pairing it with a black bra and underwear, an oversized leather jacket, a statement gold choker, and alien-inspired sunglasses.
